Responsibilities
Position Summary:
Manage the patient care journey from initial intake to medication delivery. Conduct benefit verifications, assist with prior authorizations, and guide patients through insurance coverage options to ensure timely access to specialty therapies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound and outbound calls from patients, providers, and specialty pharmacies with a one-call resolution mindset.
- Conduct benefit verifications and navigate Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial insurance guidelines.
- Assist with obtaining prior authorizations, appeals requirements, and out-of-pocket cost guidance.
- Process patient enrollments via phone, fax, and electronic portals accurately.
- Thoroughly review documentation for missing information and update tracking databases.
- 2–4 years of industry experience with patient-facing or high-touch customer support.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Dedicated home workspace with hardwired high-speed internet (15 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload minimum).
- strong computer literacy including data entry and MS Office software proficiency.
- Preferred: Previous Hub or Patient Support Services experience and knowledge of Medicare (A, B, C, D) policies.
