Responsibilities
Position Summary:
Manage the procurement of non-contracted and special-order goods and services while maintaining optimum quality and cost efficiency. Oversee purchase order processing, vendor file auditing, and system updates within Oracle Cloud.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and process purchase requisitions to purchase orders using Oracle Cloud.
- Prepare, submit, and analyze RFQs for non-contracted goods exceeding $250K.
- Interview vendors, secure bids, and analyze quotes to select appropriate suppliers.
- Research and resolve Help Desk tickets related to Oracle Cloud purchasing modules.
- Audit vendor files continuously for duplicate entries and sanction compliance.
- Support strategic sourcing initiatives and diversity vendor relationship goals (MWBE).
- Resolve order issues including pricing changes, late deliveries, and poor quality.
- High School Diploma or GED required (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- 3+ years of experience processing purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and bids.
- strong knowledge of purchasing procedures and contract negotiations.
- Proficiency with automated purchasing systems (Oracle Cloud experience preferred).
- strong analytical, Word, Excel, and communication skills.
