A fast-growing commercial and residential construction firm based right here in Central Jacksonville. As our project volume continues to expand, we’re looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our tight-knit accounting team.

This is a short-term role with high potential to transition into a permanent full-time position for the right candidate as our company continues to grow.



salary: $22 - $24 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Process, code, and enter high-volume vendor invoices and subcontractor pay applications with high accuracy.
  
  
• Perform 3-way matching (Invoice, Purchase Order, Receiving Documents).
  
  
• Collect, track, and verify Lien Waivers and Certificates of Insurance (COI) prior to releasing payment
  
  
• Review subcontractor billings against job-cost budgets and project milestones
  
  
• Maintain positive working relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and internal project teams
  
  
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, duplicate billings, or billing holds
  
  
• Assist with weekly check runs, ACH payments, and month-end closing support as needed
