We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Estate Planning Paralegal with a strong work ethic and a collaborative spirit to join our expanding team.
POSITION OVERVIEW In this role, you will work closely alongside our attorneys across all phases of estate planning. You will be instrumental in drafting key legal documents, coordinating asset funding, managing client communications, and keeping client matters organized and moving forward efficiently.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of dedicated experience as an estate planning paralegal.
- Education/Certifications: Paralegal certification preferred, or equivalent demonstrated work experience.
- Technical Skills:
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), PDF software, and document management systems.
- Eagerness and aptitude to learn advanced software programs and new technology.

- Preferred Experience (Pluses):
- Experience with Smokeball (legal practice management software).
- Background in Trust Administration, Probate, or Estate & Gift Tax software (e.g., CCH ProSystem fx).

Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Document Drafting: Support attorneys by drafting comprehensive estate planning documents, including revocable/irrevocable trusts, wills, healthcare/property powers of attorney, and related instruments.
- Trust Funding & Asset Coordination: Collect and organize client financial data; prepare deeds, assignments, and supporting documents to facilitate the funding of revocable trusts.
- File & Practice Management: Maintain organized digital and physical client files in accordance with firm policies.
- Client & Third-Party Interaction: Communicate professionally with clients, financial advisors, institutions, and other third parties while exercising independent judgment and maintaining complete confidentiality.
- Research & Support: Perform legal and financial research as needed to support client matters.
