A well-established and growing family law firm in Jacksonville is seeking two Family Law Paralegals to join its collaborative legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced litigation paralegal looking to build a long-term career in family law.
In this role, you'll support one attorney while working alongside a dedicated legal assistant and experienced legal team. The firm is known for its supportive culture, professional development opportunities, and outstanding employee benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Draft motions, pleadings, notices, discovery, and affidavits
- Prepare attorneys for hearings and trial
- Manage case files and litigation deadlines
- File documents through the Florida e-Filing Portal
- Review Florida county clerk dockets
- Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
- Provide litigation support throughout the life of a case
- 2+ years of civil litigation paralegal experience
- Family law experience preferred, but strong civil litigation paralegals interested in transitioning into family law are encouraged to apply
- Experience with the Florida e-Filing Portal (required)
- Experience with Florida county clerk dockets (required)
- Trial preparation and hearing support experience
- NALA Certified Paralegal is a plus
- Hybrid schedule (1–2 days remote)
