Responsibilities
- Cash Application: Accurately apply daily cash receipts, checks, ACH payments, and credit card transactions to appropriate customer accounts.
- Invoicing & Billing: Generate and distribute accurate customer invoices, credit memos, and account statements according to designated billing schedules and payment terms.
- Collections & Portfolio Monitoring: Monitor aging AR reports, make routine collection outreach calls or emails, and maintain professional relationships with customers to ensure timely payments.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and resolve customer billing inquiries, short payments, unapplied deductions, and payment variances in a timely manner.
- Account Reconciliation: Perform regular balance reconciliations for customer accounts and assist the finance team with month-end close schedules.
