Responsibilities
Collections & Account Management
- Maintain proactive B2B phone and email communication with beauty school accounts and wholesale distributors to request and pursue payment on past-due balances (30, 60, 90+ days).
- Manage a portfolio of accounts assigned alphabetically.
- Maintain detailed, accurate logs of payment commitments, account updates, and scheduled follow-ups.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and cash receipt reports to maintain portfolio health.
- Process new credit applications and gather required business documentation.
- Review and independently validate credit references provided by applicants or through credit reporting services.
- Recommend increases or decreases to customer credit limits based on payment history and established company guidelines.
- Collaborate directly with the VP of Credit & Collections when client requests exceed standard credit thresholds.
- Perform other related duties as assigned in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift rapidly.
