In this critical strategic role, you will bridge the gap between Sales, Operations, and Finance to optimize inventory levels, establish demand forecasting models, and overhaul field inventory control across domestic and global markets.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead end-to-end demand forecasting, inventory deployment, and safety stock strategies.
- Establish control and accountability for field consignment and trunk stock.
- Partner with sales leadership to align product availability with commercial goals using real-time data.
- Utilize NetSuite, Salesforce, and advanced Excel modeling to drive actionable supply chain insights.
- 3–5+ years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, or supply chain analytics.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (macros, pivot tables) and experience with ERP systems (NetSuite & Salesforce preferred).
- cross-functional communicator comfortable standing firm on inventory gating decisions.
- Medical device, pharmaceutical, aerospace, or manufacturing background is a plus.
- bilingual skills (Spanish, Mandarin, or French) are highly desirable.

Responsibilities
- Demand Forecasting: Develop and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual demand forecasts by analyzing historical sales trends, market conditions, and upcoming business initiatives.
- Global Inventory Oversight: Monitor inventory levels across headquarters, distribution centers, and field locations to establish targets, safety stock, and reorder points.
- Field Inventory Management: Manage "trunk stock" and consignment inventory programs for sales representatives, including tracking utilization, ensuring compliance, and managing returns.
- Strategic Problem Solving: Identify supply risks, mitigate issues related to excess or obsolete inventory, and navigate complex global supply chain challenges.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to communicate forecast impacts and ensure product availability to meet customer service levels.
