Responsibilities
Position Summary:
Serve as the primary point of contact for network dental providers. Manage provider relationships, resolve complex claims and operational escalations, deliver educational training, and support provider onboarding to enhance overall network satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary liaison between dental providers and the health plan to resolve claims, authorization, credentialing, and data inquiries.
- Conduct proactive provider outreach, including welcome calls and orientations for newly contracted dental practices.
- Educate providers on policies, procedures, manual updates, and web-based self-service tools.
- Analyze claims and authorization denial trends to identify root causes and coordinate solutions with internal operational teams.
- Track provider inquiries and escalations in established ticketing systems to ensure timely resolution.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- 3 to 5 years of experience in provider relations, dental office operations, or healthcare contracting.
- Proven knowledge of healthcare, managed care, or dental claims billing/coding processes.
- strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Ability to pass standard typing and basic computer skills assessments.
