Because many of the organization's core A/R functions are handled centrally, this role is ideal for someone who has 1–3 years of experience in accounts receivable, customer service, cash application, reception, or a related administrative role and is eager to learn, take initiative, and grow their skills.
The successful candidate will interact regularly with customers, sales staff, drivers, and internal departments while maintaining accurate customer account information and providing professional, responsive service. 12 Month Contract Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM (1-hour lunch) **Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM (30-minute lunch)

Responsibilities
- Answer phones, greet visitors, and provide professional customer service.
- Process and post customer payments, including checks and electronic payments.
- Review A/R history, research discrepancies, and reconcile customer accounts.
- Follow up with customers and sales staff regarding past-due balances.
- Maintain accurate customer account information, notes, and payment status.
- Handle customer questions, account issues, and disputes.
- Assist with monthly statements, filing, email communication, and reporting.
- Follow internal accounting controls and established procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
- 1–3 years of customer service, accounts receivable, reception, or related experience preferred.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Experience processing customer payments preferred.
- Sapphire or SAP experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and learn new processes.
