Responsibilities
Position Summary:
Receive, sort, and process incoming mail and lockbox packages within a high-volume production environment. Efficiently operate automated mail-sorting equipment, set up accounts, and prepare outgoing mail to meet strict daily service level agreement deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, sort, and stage incoming mail and priority/express packages daily.
- Efficiently operate the automated MPS40 mail sorter and maintain assigned equipment.
- Research root causes for mailroom errors and review rejects prior to mail-out.
- Ensure timely delivery and receipt of mail batches to and from production processors.
- Print mail-out labels and maintain complete daily operational reports.
- High School Diploma or GED; must be at least 18 years of age.
- 1 to 3 years of Lockbox or high-volume mailroom experience required.
- Ability to pass standard criminal background check and drug screening.
- Physical capability to perform constant lifting, bending, twisting, standing, and sitting.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work overnight hours and mandatory overtime.
