- Engagement Leadership: Direct multiple concurrent engagements and cross-functional teams, ensuring high-quality execution and client satisfaction.
- Deadline & Project Oversight: Establish project milestones, manage compliance calendars, and consistently meet strict deadlines.
- Technical Research: Execute complex tax research and lead targeted special projects to solve client challenges.
- Talent Coaching: Supervise, train, and mentor junior tax professionals to foster technical growth and career advancement.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong ongoing relationships with key client stakeholders.
- Education & Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; significant progress toward CPA eligibility required (active CPA license preferred).
- Experience: 2+ years of public accounting tax experience; exposure to varied industries (e.g., manufacturing, healthcare, technology, non-profit) is a strong plus.
- Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with CCH ProSystem fx Tax and Engagement software preferred.
- Core Competencies: strong professional communication, independent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to collaborative teamwork.
- Continuous Learning: High level of intellectual curiosity with a drive to continuously deepen technical tax expertise.
