In this role, you will work within the Medical Malpractice and Nursing Home Negligence department, directly supporting paralegals and attorneys.

salary: $40,000 - $42,000 per year

Responsibilities
- Manage the opening and closing of legal files, including processing liens.
- Procure, manage, and organize medical records, bills, forms, and authorizations.
- Report claims to insurance companies, request policies, and process/post invoices.
- Assist paralegals with gathering documentation and drafting demand packages.
- Handle high-volume clerical duties: managing outgoing/incoming mail, scanning documents into the case management system (ATO), and organizing client files.
- Communicate regularly with clients, medical providers, and insurance adjusters.
- Previous administrative or clerical experience is required; Personal Injury (PI) or medical background experience is strongly preferred.
- Prior experience handling file closings and liens is a major plus.
- A fast learner with exceptional organizational skills who can handle a high volume of work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and general computer skills (training provided for ATO case management software).
