Position Overview
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented bilingual (English and Japanese) Sales Assistant to join our Automotive Projects Division in Schaumburg, IL. This position provides administrative and operational support across international trade, order processing, and customer accounts while bridging bilingual communication between teams and external partners.
Required Qualifications
- bilingual fluency in Japanese and English (written email and spoken conversation).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and PowerPoint.
Previous experience in international trade, import/export operations, or supply chain administration.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare quotation documents and translate content from Japanese into English.
- Issue purchase orders, sales orders, and customer invoices.
- Process parts procurement and sales transactions across suppliers and clients.
- Manage accounts receivable and oversee payment collections.
- Handle import and export operations, including commercial and customs duty documentation.
- Coordinate occasional parts shipping and logistics.
- Provide general administrative support to assist sales team operations
