Our client is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Accounting Manager to manage core corporate accounting functions while serving as the primary finance partner for our Composite plant operations. While prior manufacturing experience is highly preferred, the ideal candidate will excel at delivering actionable cost analysis, managing inventory economics, and taking full ownership of operational accounting. - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CMA preferred).
- Experience: 6+ years of progressive accounting experience. Manufacturing, inventory management, or public accounting experience is ideal.
- Costing & Analytics Mastery: Deep understanding of standard costing, manufacturing economics, inventory controls, and financial modeling.
- Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, complex modeling) and proficiency with SAP or similar enterprise ERP platforms.
- Communication & Mobility: Excellent communication skills to present financial results to operational leaders, with a willingness for occasional regional travel. What We Offer

Key Highlights & Responsibilities
- Cost Analysis & Operational Partnership: Act as the dedicated finance lead for plant operations - supporting and participating in plant leadership with in-depth cost analysis, standard costing, operational reporting, variance analysis, and production economics.
- Full-Cycle Plant Accounting: Oversee the full-cycle accounting responsibilities for the Composite operation, including general ledger maintenance, month-end/quarter-end/year-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Financial Oversight & Internal Controls: Strengthen controls across inventory management, production reporting, asset capitalization, and capital project accounting while ensuring IFRS compliance and audit readiness.
- Continuous Improvement & Mentorship: Drive process automation in reporting, optimize working capital, and mentor the accounting staff from the front.
