2nd shift production lead.

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Second Shift Production Lead to oversee daily production activities and help ensure the shift operates safely, efficiently, and productively. This individual will be responsible for ensuring production goals and quality standards are consistently met, monitoring workflow and production output, assisting with the operation and troubleshooting of textile machinery, coordinating employees and assigning tasks as needed, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and communicating production updates or equipment issues to management. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can motivate a team, identify and resolve production challenges, follow safety procedures, and keep operations running smoothly throughout the second shift.

salary: $35,000 - $50,000 per year

work hours: 2:45 PM - 11 PM

Responsibilities

Meet Production Goals: Ensure daily and shift-specific production targets are met while maintaining efficiency and product quality.
Monitor Production Operations: Oversee textile production processes and equipment throughout the second shift to ensure operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Maintain Quality Standards: Inspect finished and in-process products to ensure they meet company quality standards and specifications.
Operate and Monitor Machinery: Operate production equipment as needed and monitor machinery for proper performance, identifying and reporting issues promptly.
Troubleshoot Production Issues: Address minor equipment, material, or production problems and communicate larger issues to maintenance or management.
Follow Safety Procedures: Maintain a safe work environment by following all company safety policies, proper machine procedures, and PPE requirements.
Manage Materials and Supplies: Monitor raw materials and production supplies to ensure the line remains properly stocked and production is not interrupted.
Maintain a Clean Work Area: Ensure production areas, machinery, and workstations remain clean, organized, and free of unnecessary hazards throughout the shift.
Communicate Shift Information: Provide clear communication regarding production output, equipment issues, quality concerns, and other important information to supervisors and the incoming shift.
