Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily production schedules and workflow.
- Supervise, train, and motivate production staff.
- Ensure food safety, sanitation, and quality standards are met.
- Monitor inventory, labor, costs, and food waste.
- Ensure products are produced safely, consistently, and on time.
- Maintain production records and support inspections and audits.
- Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, maintenance, and management teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity.
- Previous food production or food manufacturing experience.
- Supervisory or management experience preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and solve problems effectively.
salary: $90,000 - $95,000 per year

Responsibilities
- Production planning: Plan daily/weekly production schedules based on orders, forecasts, and inventory.
- Team management: Supervise, train, and motivate production staff; assign tasks and manage staffing levels.
- Food safety: Ensure compliance with HACCP, FDA/local health regulations, sanitation procedures, and company food-safety standards.
- Quality control: Monitor taste, appearance, portion sizes, specifications, and consistency of products.
- Inventory management: Monitor raw materials, packaging, and finished goods to reduce shortages, waste, and overstock.
- Cost control: Control labor, ingredient, and production costs while meeting productivity targets.
- Equipment: Ensure production equipment is operated safely, maintained properly, and available when needed.
- Sanitation: Maintain cleaning and sanitation standards throughout production areas.
- Production records: Complete and review production logs, temperature records, waste reports, and quality documentation.
- Waste reduction: Identify causes of food waste and implement improvements.
