Our client is seeking an experienced Contract Corporate Accountant to support corporate accounting operations and month-end close functions within a fast-paced, multi-entity environment. This hands-on role is key to ensuring overall financial accuracy, balance sheet integrity, and smooth day-to-day corporate general ledger operations.
What You Bring
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 2 to 4+ years of hands-on general ledger or corporate accounting experience (multi-entity background highly preferred).
- Core Accounting Skills: Solid understanding of GAAP principles, accruals, reserves, and intercompany transactions.
- Technical Proficiency: Microsoft Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables) and experience working within ERP/accounting software. Netsuite experience preferred (experience with payment platforms like BluePay is a bonus).
- Work Ethic: Analytical capabilities and flexibility to work extended hours during peak month-end close cycles.
- Soft Skills: High attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to manage tight deadlines during close periods.

Responsibilities
- General Ledger Ownership: Maintain full-cycle accounting functions across multiple corporate entities.
- Reconciliations & Schedules: Prepare accurate bank reconciliations, prepaid expense schedules, and recurring/accrual journal entries.
- Intercompany Accounting: Manage routine intercompany entries, balance adjustments, and reserve postings under GAAP standards.
- Month-End Close Support: Partner with the finance team to streamline month-end close workflows and meet tight reporting deadlines.
