- Experience: 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or commodity management.
- Problem Solving: Ability to navigate difficult operational and sourcing challenges by applying practical supply chain knowledge and structured solutions.
- Autonomy: Ability to work independently with general supervision while managing multiple sourcing priorities.
- Communication & Influence: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence cross-functional peers through facts, market data, and established policies/practices.
- Technical & Commercial Acumen: Understanding of contract law principles, cost-driver analysis, and negotiation tactics.

Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing & Category Strategy: Initiate and execute sourcing strategies and cost-reduction programs; develop and implement the segment strategy for your assigned commodity area.
- Supplier Relationship Management (SRM): Establish SRM processes and drive continuous improvement goals and performance programs with key vendors.
- Contract Negotiation & Integration: Negotiate commercial terms, service levels, and contracts; coordinate comprehensive supplier integration plans alongside internal clients.
- Market Intelligence: Actively monitor market dynamics, trend shifts, and economic factors impacting material/service availability and pricing.
- Internal Stakeholder Partnership: Partner closely with internal clients to map sourcing requirements, develop buyer and market profiles, identify marketplace trends, and define acceptable service levels.
- Special Initiatives: Support or participate in higher-level transformation initiatives, including digital procurement adoption and sustainability projects.
