Responsibilities
- Collections Management: Conduct proactive outreach via phone and email to business accounts to negotiate payment terms and resolve past-due balances.
- Cash Application: Post daily incoming cash, ACH, wire transfers, and credit card payments to proper accounts accurately and efficiently.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Partner with sales, billing, and operations departments to research and clear deductions, short payments, and billing disputes.
- Account Reconciliation: Maintain ledger accuracy by performing monthly AR account reconciliations and aging report analyses.
- Credit Analysis: Assist with credit checks for new clients, setting credit limits, and reviewing account holds as needed.
- Reporting: Prepare weekly aging reports and update management on high-risk accounts and expected cash inflows.
- Experience: 2–5+ years of dedicated Accounts Receivable and B2B Collections experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or QuickBooks) and intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables).
- Communication: verbal and written communication skills with a customer-service-oriented approach to dispute resolution.
