Responsibilities
What You’ll Be Doing
- Track delivery drivers and routes in real time using GPS and dispatching systems
- Communicate with drivers throughout their routes and assist with issues or delays
- Provide customers with accurate delivery updates and ETAs
- Answer incoming calls and respond to emails from drivers, customers, and internal teams
- Troubleshoot delivery and route issues as they arise
- Maintain accurate driver, route, and delivery documentation
- Confirm all routes are completed and drivers return safely at the end of the day
- Work closely with a team of dispatchers to ensure smooth daily operations
- Previous dispatching, logistics, transportation, fleet tracking, or related customer service experience preferred
- strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Ability to multitask across phone calls, emails, GPS tracking, and dispatch systems
- strong computer skills; experience with Microsoft Office and dispatch/fleet software is a plus
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must have flexibility to work overtime when needed
The regular schedule is Monday–Friday, 1:00 PM–9:00 PM, but dispatchers rotate staying until all drivers have completed their routes (11pm).
