Responsibilities
- Source, screen, schedule, interview, and assess qualified applicants to fill open positions efficiently.
- Establish and maintain relationships with local colleges, technical schools, and community organizations to generate candidate pipelines for technical and operational roles.
- Administer background checks, coordinate candidate assessments, and verify onboarding documentation in compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
- Enter candidate and employee data into HRIS databases, track key recruitment metrics, and update hiring records.
- Coordinate and represent the company at job fairs, career expos, and community recruiting events.
- Assist with the internal job posting system by writing notices, verifying candidate eligibility, and coordinating interviews with department supervisors.
- Safeguard confidential employee files and support the HR Manager with day-to-day administrative procedures.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent specialized training/experience in Human Resources or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 3–4 years of relevant human resources or recruitment experience, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Working knowledge of state and federal labor laws, FMLA, and recruitment compliance standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience using HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
