My client is seeking a skilled Employee and Labor Relations Analyst to join their team and help drive their labor relations mission across city government. Role Highlights:   - Position: Employee and Labor Relations Analyst   - Duration: Long-term temporary contract   - Schedule: 40 hours/week, Monday through Friday (Flexible hybrid/remote schedule available) Key Responsibilities:   - Partner with department leadership to manage employee relations and administer collective bargaining agreements.   - Lead workplace investigations and support grievance processes.   - Contribute to policy formulation, employee engagement strategies, and equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives. Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Advisory: Provide expert guidance to city managers on labor relations, employment policies, and conflict/crisis management.
  
  
• Grievance & Labor Administration: Administer grievance processes, interpret collective bargaining language, and represent the Department in formal/informal labor hearings and discussions with labor groups.
  
  
• Policy & Compliance: Develop standard operating procedures, monitor updates to federal, state, and local labor laws, and update personnel policies accordingly.
  
  
• Employee Engagement & EDI: Assess engagement metrics, drive action-planning strategies, and advocate for equity and diversity initiatives within a complex municipal structure.
  
  
• Data & Analytics: Conduct research and analyze labor data to optimize workflows, simplify reporting, and support long-range organizational planning.
