Senior Collections Coordinator Location: Cedar Bluff – Knoxville, TN (80% On-Site) ⏰ Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Training Period: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM for first 30 days) We are seeking an experienced Senior Collections Coordinator to join our finance team. In this role, you will manage high-volume customer accounts, resolve complex billing disputes, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and department managers. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong analytical skills, and brings a background in freight or logistics accounting. Key Responsibilities

• Portfolio Management: Oversee and manage enterprise customer portfolios to ensure timely cash collection and minimize outstanding receivables.
  
  
• Account Reconciliation: Reconcile complex account discrepancies, clear open credits, process cash applications, and adjust unapplied cash balances.
  
  
• Dispute Resolution: Partner directly with department managers and operational teams to investigate and resolve intricate payment disputes.
  
  
• Executive Reporting: Track past-due accounts, record detailed collection notes, and generate weekly aging reports for executive leadership.
  
  
• Relationship Building: Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring a balance between collection performance and excellent customer service.
  
  
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in high-volume B2B collections, accounts receivable, or finance.
  
  
• Industry Background: Prior experience in Transportation, Logistics, or Freight Accounting is strongly preferred.
  
  
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (experience with McLeod Software is a major plus).
