Responsibilities
Position Summary:
Perform outbound calls to members and healthcare providers to obtain required medical necessity documentation, log incomplete forms, and manage patient accounts within proprietary software databases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound calls to members and PCPs to secure Physician Signature of Need and Medical Necessity forms.
- Document all outreach activities and case notes in TruCare Cloud, maintaining a minimum metric of 25 detailed notes daily.
- Track and log incomplete PCP forms on SharePoint and resolve documentation errors promptly.
- Manage daily caseloads ranging from 25 to 35 members while navigating multiple software platforms.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of healthcare experience (medical office, call center, PCP office, or managed care preferred).
- Typing speed of at least 50 WPM with high accuracy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams, OneNote) and general computer systems.
- Dedicated, private HIPAA-compliant workspace and a personal cell phone for VPN login.
- Full availability for mandatory 6-week camera-on virtual training (Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST).
