Randstad is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician with experience in roller die and roll forming equipment. If you’re hands-on, detail-oriented, and great at solving problems — we want to hear from you!
What You’ll Do:
- Maintain and repair roller dies: clean, lubricate, align, and replace components
- Troubleshoot die issues and mechanical failures with precision tools
- Repair roll forming machines, uncoilers, straighteners, and automation systems
- Perform preventive maintenance and support new equipment installs
- Work with production and engineering to ensure top-quality output
- Proven experience in roller die and roll forming maintenance
- Good mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools
- Team player with a proactive, can-do attitude

Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on roller dies, including cleaning, lubrication, inspection, and replacement of worn components (e.g., bearings, shafts, spacers, shims, etc.).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues related to roller dies, such as misalignment, wear, damage, and material tracking problems.
- Execute precision repairs, including disassembling, reassembling, and adjusting roller die sets to meet product specifications.
- Utilize precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, feeler gauges, etc.) to ensure accurate roller die setup and alignment.
- Sharpen, re-grind, or replace worn roller die sections as needed to maintain product quality and extend die life.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams on new die setups and modifications to optimize performance.
- Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair on roll forming machines, uncoilers, straighteners, cut-off presses, and associated automation.
- Conduct preventative maintenance tasks on roll forming lines, including lubrication, filter changes, and general machine inspection.
- Assist with the installation and commissioning of new roll forming equipment.
