What you will do:
- Perform electrical and electronic testing on systems and circuit boards
- Write in-process test procedures for circuit boards and related assemblies
- Troubleshoot down to the component level
- Work with Engineering to support new systems development
- Load software for system testing
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and wire lists prior to testing
- Identify and report unusual or recurring faults and failures
- Return defective components to Quality Assurance
- Travel to customer sites for inspections, installations, and repairs
- Support other technical duties as assigned
- 3+ years of experience in the electrical or electronic testing field
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance
- Experience reading schematics and wiring diagrams
- Ability to troubleshoot to the component level
- Familiarity with electrical and electronic test equipment, including digital oscilloscopes
- Knowledge of digital electronics
- Good communication and computer skills
- Safety-focused approach in a test and production environment
- Testing high voltage power supplies
- Power conversion or power supply background
- Analog and digital power circuits
- Breadboarding or prototyping
- Test fixture design
- Existing security clearance
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
- Standing for extended periods while testing large power equipment
- Bending and kneeling to wire equipment
- Carrying tools up to 35 lbs. during onsite visits when needed

Responsibilities
