Responsibilities
- Order Lifecycle Management: Facilitate the end-to-end purchase order process for domestic and international vendors (e.g., Saurer Spinning/Twisting), including material specification reviews.
- Expediting & Logistics: Monitor open POs to ensure timely delivery and build container shipments in Sage based on electronic transmissions.
- Tariff & Pricing Oversight: Review import tariffs and adjust selling prices accordingly to maintain profit margins.
- Inventory Integrity: Maintain precise records regarding stock levels and bin locations; perform weekly maintenance and monthly shipping audits to resolve "shipped but not invoiced" discrepancies.
- Receiving Coordination: Prepare all essential documentation (labels, receiving lists) and manage back-order allocations when stock is insufficient.
- Lifecycle Management: Identify obsolete inventory, manage the deletion process, and maintain substitution logic for part number transitions and system linkages.
- Invoice Reconciliation: Verify vendor invoice accuracy and resolve pricing discrepancies before final processing.
- Returns & Credits: Manage the RAF (Return Authorization Form) process, issuing credit memos upon approval.
- Technical Support: Assist customer service with inventory inquiries and utilize SECOS inquiry tools for new item validation and system loading.
- Reporting: Generate spreadsheets for obsolescence analysis and price adjustment reports for management review.
