Hi-Rel Solder Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate must have 2-3 years experience. Perform precision hand soldering of surface-mount and through-hole components to IPC Class 3 standards. Responsible for assembling and soldering high-reliability printed circuit boards (PCBs) and sub- assemblies in accordance with industry standards such as IPC J-STD-001, IPC-A-610.

Responsibilities

Hi-Rel Solder Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate must have 2-3 years experience.
 Perform precision hand soldering of surface-mount and through-hole components to IPC Class 3 standards.
 Responsible for assembling and soldering high-reliability printed circuit boards (PCBs) and sub- assemblies in
accordance with industry standards such as IPC J-STD-001, IPC-A-610.
 The candidate should have working knowledge of Operating soldering equipment, microscopes, and other
assembly tools.
 Must be able to read and interpret assembly documents and engineering drawings.

Education and Required Skills
 High School diploma or equivalent and 2+ years in PCB or electronics assembly, preferably in a Hi-Rel or
relative environment.
 Proficiency in soldering to IPC J-STD- A-610 Class 3 standards.
 Certification in IPC J-ATD-001 and/or IPC-A-610.
 Experience in working under a microscope and magnification and with fine-pitch components.
 Familiarity with ESD protection procedures.
 Ability to read and understand technical documents and drawings.
 Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
 Computer and written skills is a PLUS, willing to train an enthusiastic applicant willing to learn a
new skill.
