We are looking for high-level Maintenance Technicians (Levels 4, 5, and 6) who are ready to hit the ground running. We need experts who can tackle complex mechanical and electrical challenges in a fast-paced extrusion environment.

We currently have three openings:

• 2 positions on the day shift.
• 1 position on the night shift

What You’ll Do

• Advanced Electrical: Work with 480V and 3-phase motors.
• PLC Systems: Perform Level 2 modifications and troubleshooting.
• Mechanical Systems: Manage shaft alignment, hydraulics, and general industrial troubleshooting.
• Efficiency: Ensure all extrusion equipment (metal or plastic) is running at peak performance.

Requirements

• Proven Expertise: Deep experience in 480V/3-phase motors and hydraulics.
• PLC Proficiency: Must be at a Level 2 for troubleshooting and modifications.
• Background: Previous experience in an extrusion environment (metal or plastic) is a major plus.
• Assessment: Candidates must successfully pass a hands-on technical assessment during the interview process.
• Constraint: We are not accepting applications from individuals currently or formerly associated with Tower Extrusions.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of industrial extrusion equipment (metal or plastic).
• Maintain, modify, and troubleshoot PLC systems (Level 2 proficiency required).
• Install, maintain, and repair 480V / 3-phase motors and electrical systems.
• Conduct precision shaft alignments and maintain hydraulic systems.
• Ensure minimal downtime by responding quickly to mechanical or electrical failures.

wearing steel toe shoes

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 8 hours at one time

working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
