Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- PLC and Automation Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair issues involving PLCs, HMI systems, VFD drives, and robotic arms.
- Preventive & Predictive Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical control systems to preempt equipment failure.
- Production Support: Collaborate closely with production teams to identify malfunctions and minimize downtime during critical shifts.
- Technical Documentation: Accurately log maintenance actions, repairs, and PLC logic modifications within a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- System Upgrades: Assist the engineering department with the installation, startup, and testing of new automated machinery and system integrations.
- Safety Adherence: Maintain strict compliance with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols and NFPA 70E electrical safety standards.
