Key Responsibilities Forklift Operation: Safely operate a forklift to move large bins of sorted wires and heavy reclaimed metals across the facility.
Floor Leadership: Lead our Sorters and Loader/Unloaders by example. You’ll be responsible for keeping the team on track to hit daily recycling targets.
Quality & Safety: Ensure all materials are sorted into the correct bins with 100% accuracy and that every team member is working safely.
Heavy Reclamation: Assist with prying, tearing, and lifting materials as needed to ensure the flow of work never stops.
What You Need to Succeed
- Forklift Experience: Must be confident and safe behind the wheel of a forklift in a busy warehouse/industrial environment.
- Physical Grit: Ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods. This isn't a desk job!
- Attention to Detail: Sharp eyes for different metal and wire types to maximize recycling value.
- Gear: Must have steel-toed boots.
- Clearance: Ability to pass a background check.
