Pay Range: $18.00 – $20.00 / hour (based on experience)
Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Ride-On Pallet Jack Operator to join our overnight team in Bay Shore. This role is critical to our supply chain, ensuring that perishable goods are moved efficiently through our cold-storage facility. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in low temperatures, proficient in operating heavy machinery, and able to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish.
Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate a motorized electric ride-on pallet jack (walkie-rider) to move, stage, and stack products.
- Order Selection: Accurately pick orders in a fast-paced, refrigerated environment using RF scanners or voice-to-pick systems.
- Loading/Unloading: Assist in loading outbound trailers and unloading incoming shipments with precision.
- Safety & Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of equipment and adhere to all OSHA and warehouse safety protocols.
- Inventory Integrity: Ensure all products are handled carefully to prevent damage and maintain accurate stock counts.
- Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating a Ride-On Pallet Jack (electric walkie-rider).
- Skills: Must be fluent in English and Spanish to coordinate with diverse team members and supervisors.
- Physical Ability: * Must be able to work in a cold environment (temperatures ranging from 0°F to 38°F).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently throughout the shift.
- Ability to stand, walk, and mount/dismount equipment for 8+ hours.

- Schedule: Flexibility to work overnights, including weekends and potential overtime as needed.
- Reliability: track record of punctuality and attendance.
