Responsibilities
- Operate and assist in setting up CNC mills and/or lathes
- Must be able to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Inspect finished parts using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
- Monitor machine performance and part quality
- Perform tool changes and basic machine adjustments
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety and quality procedures
- Work closely with experienced machinists and supervisors to develop skills
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools
- Experience with CNC setup, offsets, and troubleshooting is a plus
