This is a unique training-to-leadership role. You will work side-by-side with our current manager, learn our operation from the ground up, and ultimately step into a senior leadership role—taking over daily operations and facility management.
Located in Brooklyn Pay $30-40/hr Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm, Fridays done at 2pm

Responsibilities
What You’ll Do (Beyond the Desk):
- Lead on the Floor: Spend the majority of your day on the shop floor, coordinating setups, setting priorities, and earning the respect of our hourly team.
- Troubleshoot & Fix: Use your mechanical expertise to solve production challenges, working with power presses, fourslide machines, and plant equipment.
- Own the Operation: Train to ultimately handle the opening/closing of the facility and oversee total daily production.
Required Experience:
- Deep Manufacturing Roots: Heavy experience in high-volume environments (metal stamping, fourslide manufacturing, wire forming, spring/fastener manufacturing, or tool-and-die shops).
- Machinery Know-How: Solid hands-on experience with power presses, fourslide machines, assembly operations, and general plant equipment (compressors, etc.).
- Mechanical Troubleshooting: The ability to look at a machine issue and figure out how to fix it.
- Leadership Maturity: Proven ability to manage union shop environments professionally and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Exposure to tool and die work.
- Spanish and English is a bonus
