Responsibilities
Position Summary:
The Specialist will be responsible for hands on Machine Operations, troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving automated machinery and systems that support our metal processing operations. This individual will work closely with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams to ensure optimal equipment performance and process reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to automated systems and machinery
- Maintain PLCs, HMIs, servo motors, and control systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and system upgrades
- Support installation of new automation equipment
- Assist in training operators on system functionality and safety
- Document changes to programs and system configurations
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Technical degree or certification in Electrical, Automation, or Mechanical Engineering preferred
- 2+ years of experience working with industrial automation systems
- Familiarity with Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMI software, and industrial sensors
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Willingness to work hands-on in a fast-paced industrial environment
