Responsibilities
Food Preparation and Cooking:
- Oversee the preparation, cooking, and plating of all menu items.
- Ensure that all food is prepared according to established recipes, portion sizes, and food safety guidelines.
- Monitor food inventory and coordinate with suppliers to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring that they adhere to companies standards of food preparation, hygiene, and safety.
- Schedule and manage kitchen staff, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing feedback.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including proper storage of food, equipment maintenance, and sanitation procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure that food quality, presentation, and portion sizes consistently meet companies standards.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints regarding food quality or service promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with the management team to implement strategies for improving customer satisfaction and loyalty.
