Role Summary: Randstad USA is seeking an experienced Printing Press Operator for a full-time, direct-hire role at a packaging manufacturer in Bowlingbrook, IL. This position will operate Heidelberg Printing Presses, applying inks and coatings to packaging materials while ensuring quality standards, safety, and efficiency are met. Candidates will train on Day shift before transitioning to Night shift.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 3+ years of experience operating or assisting on a printing press
- Proficiency with Heidelberg Printing Presses strongly preferred
- strong dimensional math skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work 12-hour shifts
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Amtech preferred)
- Keen eye for color accuracy
- Ability to read and follow job tickets precisely
- Must have an updated resume and be available for an in-person interview
- Pay: $36–$42/hr DOE

Responsibilities
- Set up and operate Heidelberg Printing Presses per job ticket specifications and manufacturer guidelines
- Supervise 1–2 press support team members (Feeder and Aerator Operator)
- Apply inks and coatings to sheeted product based on customer-approved proofs and color swatches
- Identify and segregate non-conforming product
- Verify sheet thickness, dimensions, board grade, and grain direction match order specs
- Record production and material usage in Amtech and on required forms
- Conduct routine machine maintenance
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in work area
- Adhere to GMP and food safety protocols
- Follow all Quality Assurance and HACCP procedures
