A well-established custom fabrication shop is looking for a skilled Wood Finisher to join their production team. This is a great opportunity for someone with carpentry or cabinetry experience who takes pride in craftsmanship and detail.
Responsibilities
- Sand, stain, and finish custom wood pieces
- Operate HVLP spray guns and hand tools
- Mix and match stains and topcoats to spec
- Perform detailed inspections and touch-ups
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
- Work with the team to meet quality and timeline goals
- 1–3 years of experience in wood finishing, carpentry, or cabinetmaking
- Skilled in sanding, staining, and spraying techniques
- Familiar with finishing tools and materials
- Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic
- Physically able to stand, lift, and bend throughout the day
- Must be local to Totowa, NJ and available for onsite work
salary: $40,000 - $50,000 per year

- Ensure consistency across all finished parts
