What You'll Do:
- Perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on overhead and mobile cranes.
- Lead service projects and mentor junior technicians.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical crane systems.
- 3+ years of crane maintenance/repair experience (NCCCO or equivalent certification a plus).
- great knowledge of rigging, lifting equipment, and load testing procedures.
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and work independently.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities
A Senior Crane Technician provides expert-level maintenance, repair, and inspection for all crane types.
- Diagnose & Troubleshoot: Perform advanced diagnostics on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems using schematics and specialized tools to resolve complex malfunctions.
- Repair & Overhaul: Execute intricate repairs, including major component replacements, structural fixes, and system overhauls (winches, booms, hydraulics).
- Inspect & Certify: Conduct thorough safety, frequent, and periodic inspections. Perform load testing and certification to regulatory standards (OSHA, ASME). Document all findings meticulously.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols and industry regulations. Identify and mitigate hazards.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Guide and train junior technicians. Lead complex projects, sharing technical expertise.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and parts usage. Utilize CMMS for reporting.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with crane technology and safety best practices. Recommend and implement process enhancements.
