Location: Bloomingdale, IL Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday–Friday | 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM Pay: $22.00–$26.00/hr + 5% shift premium
Role Summary: Randstad USA is hiring experienced Press Brake Operators for a full-time, direct hire opportunity with a leading precision metal fabrication company. This role requires hands-on experience with metal forming equipment, including setup, adjustment, and in-process inspections to ensure high-quality output.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 2+ years of press brake operation and setup experience preferred
- strong understanding of metal forming processes, material behavior, and V-die selection
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret specifications
- High School Diploma required
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Comfortable working around moving mechanical parts and in loud environments
- Must have a good mechanical aptitude and math skills
- Pay: $22–$26/hr (Plus a shift premium)

Responsibilities
- Set up and operate Press Brake machines to bend sheet metal parts to exact specifications
- Perform quality checks using calipers, height gauges, protractors, and rulers
- Select and configure correct tools and dies based on job specs
- Read blueprints and understand compound tolerances and material spring back
- Adjust ram speeds, offsets, and I-axis blocks for accurate forming
- Complete setup sheets and create new machine programs
- Troubleshoot machine/tooling issues and perform basic maintenance
- Produce work that meets quality and efficiency standards
- Work independently and cross-train in multiple areas
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
