Responsibilities
Daily Operations
- Supervise production line activities to meet daily output targets.
- Monitor workflow and quickly resolve any delays or disruptions.
- Lead and support line staff during active shifts.
- Assign roles, manage shift coverage, and provide direction as needed.
- Promote a team-focused, respectful work culture.
- Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety policies.
- Work alongside QA to identify and resolve quality concerns in real-time.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant production environment.
- Identify and address issues with machinery, materials, or workflow.
- Coordinate with maintenance staff to reduce downtime.
- Continuously seek ways to boost productivity and reduce waste.
- Train new team members on safety procedures and production standards.
- Set clear expectations and monitor performance throughout the shift.
- Address performance issues professionally in collaboration with HR.
- Accurately complete shift reports, production logs, and downtime records.
- Communicate critical updates to incoming supervisors and other departments.
