Responsibilities
- Perform visual inspections of bio-materials and components using established inspection criteria, under both ambient and magnified conditions (e.g., microscopes, magnifiers).
- Identify and document defects, contamination, surface irregularities, or other non-conformities.
- Accurately complete inspection reports, batch records, and deviation documentation as required.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure non-conforming products are properly quarantined and investigated.
- Ensure inspection processes align with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), ISO 13485, and/or FDA regulations (if applicable).
- Maintain a clean and organized inspection area to minimize contamination risks.
- Escalate recurring quality issues to the Quality Assurance Manager for further evaluation.
