Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on corrugated production equipment, including packaging converters, flexo folder gluers, rotary die cutters, slitters, conveyors, and balers.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Ensure all machinery is operating safely, efficiently, and in compliance with plant standards.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Maintain and update CMMS records and maintenance logs.
- Collaborate with operations to support continuous improvement and root cause analysis of equipment failures.
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and line changeovers.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment and follow all safety procedures and lockout/tagout protocols.
- Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in the corrugated industry—box manufacturing experience is a plus.
- strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair gearboxes, motors, chains, belts, rollers, and bearings.
- Working knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, sensors, VFDs, and control circuits is highly preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
- strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends when needed.
