Are you hands-on, mechanically minded, and ready to turn designs into real machines? We’re hiring a Mechanical Designer/Technician to join a growing team that builds custom industrial equipment for bulk materials and powder handling.
You’ll work closely with engineers and shop technicians on everything from CAD design to prototyping, assembly support, and shop-floor collaboration. If you’ve worked with SolidWorks or Inventor, can read blueprints, and enjoy building and improving mechanical systems — we want to talk to you.
This is a great opportunity for someone coming from machine building, fabrication, or maintenance who’s ready to grow their CAD and design skills. It’s also a great fit for early-career Mechanical Designers looking to get closer to the action.

Responsibilities
- Design mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks or Inventor
- Create and update detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings
- Interpret and apply engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Assemble and test prototypes and mechanical systems
- Collaborate with shop technicians and engineers on design improvements
- Support build and troubleshooting of custom industrial machinery
- Manage and revise bills of materials (BOMs)
- Assist in version control and design documentation
- Participate in root cause analysis and mechanical troubleshooting
- Provide input on manufacturability and assembly methods
- Support sourcing and part selection for mechanical components
- Follow safety procedures and contribute to shop organization
