Position Overview We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Swiss Lathe Machinist with hands-on experience operating and setting up Citizen Swiss machines. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a passion for precision and craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot Citizen CNC Swiss lathes (L20, M32, A20, etc.).
- Read and interpret technical blueprints, GD&T, and machining specifications.
- Adjust tool offsets, change tooling, and fine-tune programs to maintain part quality.
- Perform first article and in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.).
- Optimize machining processes to reduce cycle time and increase tool life.
- Maintain detailed records of machine performance and part quality.
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet production goals.
- 3+ years of hands-on CNC Swiss Lathe machining experience (required).
- Citizen machine experience (preferred: L-series, M-series, or similar).
- Understanding of Swiss-style turning operations, tooling, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and tolerances.
- Familiarity with quality systems and inspection processes.
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and quality-driven.
salary: $65,000 - $90,000 per year
