- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC Swiss-style lathes (e.g., Star, Citizen, Tsugami, or similar).
- Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and customer specifications.
- Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality and dimensional standards.
- Perform minor program edits and offsets at the machine.
- Maintain equipment and follow preventive maintenance schedules.
- Collaborate with team members, engineers, and quality personnel to optimize processes.
- (If applicable) Lead small teams, mentor junior machinists, and support continuous improvement efforts.
- 3+ years of experience operating and setting up CNC Swiss lathes.
- Experience working in a regulated industry—aerospace strongly preferred.
- Solid understanding of machining principles, materials (including exotic alloys), and tooling.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and quality inspection techniques.
- Leadership or team lead experience is a major plus.
