We are looking for an individual with practical experience and a commitment to quality:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with chemical batch making or a related technical degree.
- Forklift experience.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Good writing and communication skills in English.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence and present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to lead and direct other personnel at a workstation.
- Ability to multi-task and perform several tasks simultaneously, keeping multiple pieces of equipment running.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
The environment can be hot and dusty, and the work is physically demanding.
This is a full-time position with the possibility of overtime on weekends.
salary: $37,000 - $43,000 per year

Responsibilities
As a Chemical Batcher, you will be responsible for the precise handling and processing of materials:
- Pumping, mixing, and blending both dry and liquid chemicals as specified by batch tickets.
- Operating a variety of dispersers and related chemical equipment.
- Recording process information, such as lot numbers, temperature, mixing speed, and times.
- Setting up, operating, and charging equipment that mixes, blends, or processes ingredients in the manufacturing of epoxy adhesives, according to formulas.
- Coordinating tasks with other workers involved in the batch making process.
- Inspecting tanks to ensure they are empty and suitable for use before adding materials.
- Assisting in other areas of the plant as needed.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workstation and area.
- Maintaining equipment and communicating any malfunctions to maintenance personnel or supervisors.
- Accomplishing daily production standards and communicating any shortfalls to management.
