Looking for Machine Operators for the Culpeper, VA area with a background in operating and maintaining extrusion machinery to produce high-quality plastic or metal products. Skilled in machine setup, die changes, quality inspection, troubleshooting, and maintaining consistent production output. Committed to safety, efficiency, and minimizing material waste while ensuring compliance with manufacturing standards. 

salary: $18 - $18.5 per hour
shift: Second
work hours: 4 PM - 12 AM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Machine Operation: Setting up, operating, and tending to extrusion machines.
• Material Handling: Loading raw materials into machines, identifying appropriate materials for each job.
• Process Monitoring: Monitoring the extrusion process, adjusting settings to ensure quality and efficiency, troubleshooting operational issues.
• Quality Control: Measuring and examining extruded products for defects, checking for conformance to specifications, and maintaining quality standards.
• Safety Compliance: Working safely and following all safety instructions and regulations.
• Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate production records, including product counts, machine settings, and maintenance activities.
• Teamwork and Communication: Collaborating with colleagues and supervisors, providing guidance and assistance as needed.
