Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance (PM) on all industrial equipment, including but not limited to conveyors, motors, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems, following established schedules and procedures.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical malfunctions, including identifying and replacing worn or defective components such as bearings, seals, gears, belts, and chains.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including motors, control panels, wiring, sensors, relays, and circuit breakers, referencing electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Conduct basic troubleshooting and make minor adjustments to Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and other automated control systems to resolve operational issues.
- Execute corrective maintenance tasks promptly to minimize downtime, responding to equipment breakdowns and operational alarms with urgency.
- Perform basic pipefitting, welding (e.g., MIG, stick), and fabrication tasks to repair or modify equipment as needed.
- Inspect and maintain facility infrastructure, including lighting, HVAC systems, and utilities, to ensure a safe and operational environment.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined space entry, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, multimeters) safely and effectively.
